It's a fact. Herbs CAN help your mood.
Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard we try, we can be in a 'funk' or can be stuck in a grumpy mood. There's obviously more to working out life's challenges but as we move forward, we can indeed use our beloved herbs in tea and tincture formulas to lift us up.

Need a "pick me up" Herbs can help our moods! There are so many idea which come to mind to uplift you ~ Here's a favourite remedy, really more of a festive treat.. you are so worth it!
Hibiscus~Rose punch is SO good and yes ~ these herbs can help your mood.
1 cup hibiscus petals (dried)
1 gallon of pure water
¼ cup rose water ( I have some from my rose garden but when I don't, I use Cortas brand*)
⅛ cup maple syrup
optional: 1-2 drops Bulgarian rose essential oil (for those who are fine with a drop of decadence!)
* check in Middle-Eastern shops, bakeries or in specialized area of grocery store
Make a tea, let steep for an hour or two -- or overnight. Strain out the petals. Add the rest of the ingredients. Serve at room temperature or chilled or 'on ice'. Add a sprig of whatever calls to you from the garden! This 'punch' is non-alcoholic. To kick it up-- try a light white wine. Want another version of Sangria for your next party or 'girls' night'? Try a playful red wine and add some sliced fruit. Serve on ice!
Hibiscus tea is :
- rich in anthocyanins, fruit acids, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and bioflavonoids
- excellent for boosting the immune system and fighting off infections
- historically revered to improve health and vitality
- high in antioxidants
- supportive to cardiac health including lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels, hypertension
- anti-cancer ; thought to possess properties which have the ability to protect cells and keep them healthy and free from damage.
- beneficial for weight reduction
- helpful in cases of sleep disturbance, mood swings and depression
- known to prevent bladder infections
- helpful in cases of constipation.

Hibiscus tea can be consumed either hold or cold. Try adding some raw honey for a delicious and powerful immune strengthening drink.
